so basically everything is still fine? trying to play more tennis now! or rather competitive tennis! my standards really dipped after like 2 months of playing with ahmas! ): i really hate it because i love playing tennis so much! esp fast paced!!!
been trying to finish the food too because gonna go home on 17th august! BIG DATE GUYS! 17TH AUGUST :D HEHEHEHE so its 21 more days :D 3 weeks! CMON I CAN DO THIS! just trying to live these few weeks as fast and smoothly as i can!
can't remember much of whats been happening! but have been cooking a lot, going shopping more often (heh oops), working, going crazy over my idols as usual, playing loads of guitar! especially never going back again! ahaha the finger style guitar is just so nice and so i finally learnt it and man it really feels good haha!
been missing jesse! haha (: oh and arab people are fasting now, poor them they can't even drink water yknow!!! ._. anyway had a bbq today! haha realized i don't really know how to bbq? but thankfully have some knowledge and stuff plus felicia and ada knew bait too! so i guess we pieced it together just right and then managed to bbq (: hopefully i don't have a stomach ache tonight that is! hahaha
its finally summer these 4 days? its basically hot an around 28 degrees. i swear i am dying. was just saying the weather is preparing us to go home! but its hot and dry, occasionally windy. really really terrible for me! ): no fan in the room! basically my room now is so hot I'm sweating ): but tmr its raining again so probably the temperature will drop! I HOPE SO!! i mean its really nice with the sun finally out but....no thanks i've had for 17 years and i don't want anymore =.= to a point where I'm actually tying hair a lot now! just that i haven't dared to do that in class yet lol
anyway i still wear track pants for tennis which is stupid because its really hot. but these ang mohs have really nice legs no matter how fat they are and I'm like..omg =.= probably shouldn't be that case but it does make me feel more insecure. grrr. insecurities holds me back in so many ways you don't even know. and its so frustrating. #typicalteenager. thanks to nellie who helped me realized that its common and maybe i shouldn't be afraid to admit it.
btw i was thinking i wanna work in like a dog shelter or something. i need to shower care and love on something that i feel comfortable doing that with like i do to jesse at home and so far its only been animals HAHAHAHA.crap. I'm a nun

and as if i haven't ranted enough just now....
heres my post dedicated to my new obsession : the glee project :D

so i like her because as a person she's down to earth and subtle, and very very relatable to! and her voice is awesome don't forget to mention! she may not be so beautiful when you first see her but character always outshines looks so i guess when you like someone (for me) looks come second but that person will gradually look better too!

so haven't been posting for awhile, sorry bout that! :\ anyway so things have been okay! last time i posted it was when i baked the banana bread did i? which was 4th july..oh god. today is 10th!
so i think thursday after school we went to cook fried bee hoon and chicken at nicole and ada's house! was more of a success this time heh :D
well friday we supposed to have a math lesson but the meeting took longer and then it got canceled! so we all went back to my place to cook/bake! was kinda like not organized (well nothing is organized when i don't organize it) so we just used whatever we had in my kitchen! took decided to make jelly hearts :D hehe whenever i think of them i think of amanda and ashley and our crazy baking sessions! so it turned out okay i guess? got bait frustrated because i bought vege jello (which required a separate process to get ready) for ghalia and najat and they didnt turn up so I'm like.. =.= sick of that happening, wtv! then since nicole and ada (i was with fy and felicia) was coming, we decided to cook lunch too. anyhow made some pasta which actually turned out kinda nice! hahaha we used tomato ketchup because we didnt have anything else HAHA! but it was good! then i tried to make baked rice (with pasta sauce) well half success! just that the sauce wasn't sweet enough :\
anyway they found the jelly dessert nice :D loved it too! miss this! can't wait to go back for christmas guys!!!
saturday i had to work! busy day again! but still had loads of energy and then got a free drink after work! :D yay!
plus... MY FIRST PAYCHECK ;D HHEHEHEHE!!!!!!!! so happy I'm earning money yay!
basically every hour its 6.80pounds. not including tips.so i work 5 hours each session (part time), so 34pounds a day. and since my visa only allows 10h per week, it means 68 pounds per week! but since i have worked 20 hours in my first week, 15 in my second, they are carrying those extra hours to other weeks where i didnt work! so means that if i don't work for a week i'd still get money yay :D
the dollars is x2. so means 136dollars for working 2 days :D hhehe. and my tips this week was 24.42pounds! wow :D but minus 10 for the uniform! so YESSSS moneymoneymoney. nah I'm just really happy I'm earning something to support myself better! it just assures me that even if I'm a waitress i still can live =.= and the fact that earning money would mean supporting my parents too! not now of course =.=
had pork and rice for my lunchbox! i don't realy eat pork (i think it is) so... :\ wasted but i ate the rice LOL
then on sunday i tried to cook lemon chicken =.= deep fried the chicken okay i guess? but the sauce was too sweet =.= ugh
okay I've decided to dedicate a post to my new obsession so i shall continue blabbering in there.
but meanwhile i'll tell you about today.the 8th day of my work, week 3.and so they told me to memorize the menu by week 4 because they're gonna push me out of the station to go take orders etc. and so its the start of week 3 and BOOM I'm out of the station. crap. 89 things on the menu to remember and I've only remembered like 62 =.= and not well yet. like if you gave me a paper exam on those i would do it well. but if you randomly choose a number and ask me to tell you, it takes a really long time =.=
so they just pushed me out of the station. crap. ): taught a whole load of new things by bonny today.like how to serve the customer etc etc. its the real waitress job now. should have said i can't speak english so i would stay in the station forever =.=
basically this is how it goes. wear the earpiece, reception tells you which guests have arrived for which table and how many(i haven't done this yet). check the table is correct number of plates and for the correct amount of people. then when they come take the menu and drinks menu (count how many customers) and then wait for them to sit down. say greetings (which i really don't like talking to strangers) like "good evening!" and then hand them the menus, and place the drink menu on the table somewhere. step back and wait for awhile, come back and ask them if they want drinks. take order (remember the drinks number and what their short forms are =.= oh god haven't even got the menu memorized). give the slip to the bar. serve the drinks if it arrives. then wait awhile and ask them if they are ready to order starters. take their orders (must ask for the food number if you can't remember =.=) do some listening comprehension and then repeat the order and stuff. must also check if they're ok with having spicy curry, pineapple,allergy or whatever. so its so freaking mafan. then bring it to the station. ask if they're sharing starters. if they are not, take the red napkin and put on their lap, take the plates away. oh god
then serve starters when it comes. go back and ask if everything is ok.occasionally they will ask for mor e drinks ugh. then when they're done clear the plates and order main course. sometimes they want to order main course first too. then must tell the station the table is ready for main course. oh god. serve main course. ask if its okay. ask if they're finish after awhile, take plates away. ask if they want dessert, give menu etc. sometimes they wanna da boa also
okay this is mad. this is just the basic, not even in details. i don't know what some of the customers are ordering sometimes. like the beer or wine. i can't hear properly or maybe i don't even know it existed. much less the number of whatever that drink is! oh my god. then i must rewrite the receipt thing because i don't know the number of the drink! =.= MAFAN SHIZ. also i don't know most of the dishes, how they look like what they contain etc. the wines I'm totally lost. and in big group tables theres so many people ordering stuff sometimes you don't even know. like someone orders a glass of white wine and the other side of the table orders a bottle. so er what...? ask the customers again. sigh. ask and ask and ask =.= i feel so irritating and irritated yknow =.=
thats not even the end of it. people leave, clear dishes, set table etc. btw when you're clearing plates you have to try to carry as many as possible. and if i drop one on the customer I'm dead meat. which i almost did. also sometimes they're talking and my voice isn't that loud., so they can't hear me asking what they want to order =.= oh lord....and its more than that but i feel i ranted too much already.
so moral of the story is they are trying to much me out too early =.= k maybe i seem enthusiastic and stuff but it really is fun bringing food to the table. but now...not really =.= but really, its my 8th day of work. i barely even know the people's names or the food menu. and drinks. and now I'm outside taking care of customers ......uh what...? =.= even if i was the manager i would wait a few more weeks =.= i have work again tmr.....
not really looking forward to it. i really don't want to make mistakes. and i realized i have this fear of not understanding what the customer wants. or what to do. when i get lost i start to panic =.= crap.i wanna do better but i know its not gonna be so fast :\ its really more mafan than it seems but i guess i'll get used to it ! :\ sigh
but no must get used to it! its daily work!nothing is easy in work/life! so jiayou mun one step at a time!!!! shouldn't be afraid of making mistakes!!
crap sorry for ranting! don't read it =.= haven't had a HTHT for a long time lol.
